Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band (feat. Junior Jazz)

Recorded in New York City for Easy Star's 2009 Beatles tribute album Easy Star's Lonely Hearts Dub Band, with Junior Jazz handling the lead vocal and Michael Goldwasser producing and arranging. The album credits list AuH2O Studio in Queens, New York, as the recording studio. As the opening track of Easy Star All-Stars' dub-reggae reimagining of Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, it set the tone for the album's concept from the first note. The release helped present the band's Beatles project as a serious, fully realized studio production rather than a novelty cover version. It remains one of the best-known entry points into Easy Star All-Stars' Lonely Hearts Dub Band, the album that became a defining title in the group's tribute-album catalog. The track also helped establish Junior Jazz as a recurring voice on the record, including the reprise later in the sequence.
