On The Run (10 Ft. Ganja Plant Remix)

A remix of Easy Star All-Stars’ 2003 Pink Floyd tribute Dub Side of the Moon, this version was issued on the 2010 remix album Dubber Side of the Moon, assembled from the band’s original tapes and handed to 10 Ft. Ganja Plant for reworking. The release is credited to Easy Star All-Stars on Easy Star Records, with the parent project produced by Michael Goldwasser and Victor Axelrod (Ticklah). The track is part of a full-album dub remix project that extended the reach of Dub Side of the Moon and was presented by the label as a trippier alternate listen to the original. Contemporary coverage singled out the 10 Ft. Ganja Plant version of “On the Run” as a standout for its atmospheric, bass-heavy approach. It remains one of the best-known examples of 10 Ft. Ganja Plant’s remix work for Easy Star Records and helps define the label’s remix-catalog identity. The album continues to circulate through label retrospectives and streaming editions, keeping the track in Easy Star’s ongoing legacy.
