Great Dub In The Sky

Recorded for Easy Star All-Stars’ 2003 Dub Side of the Moon sessions, the track was produced by Michael Goldwasser and Victor Axelrod (Ticklah) for Easy Star Records. The album’s recording locations are documented as Noise NY, Mic Stand Killer Studios, Funky Slipe Studios, 401 Studios, and Hot Sound in the New York area. “Great Dub in the Sky” appeared as a bonus dub version on the original Dub Side of the Moon release and later remained part of the album’s anniversary editions. The parent album became one of Easy Star All-Stars’ defining releases and stayed on the Billboard reggae chart for years. The track endures as part of the album’s expanded dub coda, circulating on reissues and streaming editions rather than as a standalone hit.
