Masta Ace Incorporated · 1992
Recording

Recorded for SlaughtaHouse at Firehouse Studios in Brooklyn during the 1992 sessions for Masta Ace Incorporated's debut album. Masta Ace performed with the Incorporated lineup, and Bluez Brothas handled the track's production. Released in 1993 on SlaughtaHouse, the track sat within the album's satirical response to violent rap posturing and industry clichés. It also appeared in remix form on the Slaughtahouse single, extending the album's concept beyond the LP. The track remains a recognized deep cut from one of Masta Ace's key concept-era releases. Its Bluez Brothas production and battle-themed writing keep it tied to the album's underground reputation.
