Mexican Dub

The track was recorded for Kanka’s album Sub.Mersion, released in 2009 from his Rouen-based catalogue. Alexis Langlois, the musician behind Kanka, composed and produced the album’s studio-built material. Released on Sub.Mersion, the track appeared during Kanka’s established Hammerbass-era run after Don’t Stop Dub and Alert. The album refined his heavy sound-system approach and included guest cuts with Biga Ranx, Mc Oliva, Ranking Joe, Bungalo Dub, and Moyenei. The track remains part of Kanka’s core Sub.Mersion catalogue and continues to circulate through official digital editions. It documents the late-2000s stage of his Rouen production style before Dub Communication and later Dubalistik releases.
