Cornal Dub (chopz Dub)

Recorded for the 2008 collaboration album Inna Steppa Dub by Improvisators Dub Meets Iration Steppas. The album credits list recording at Sugar BB Cave and production and mixing at High Rise Studio, with Iration Steppas credited as producer and arranger; the release also features guest brass players on several tracks. The track appears on a French-UK crossover dub album that grew out of the two groups’ 2007 live encounter and collaborative sessions. Contemporary reviews described the record as a strong steppa-oriented meeting of French dub and British sound-system energy. Cornal Dub (Chopz Dub) remains part of a well-documented Improvisators Dub and Iration Steppas collaboration that later circulated through digital storefronts and streaming services. It continues to serve as a reference point for late-2000s French/UK steppers crossovers.
