Fyah Bun Dem

Recorded by Digitaldubs in Rio de Janeiro for the Muzamba-issued 30 Head riddim session, with Ranking Joe on vocals. The track appeared on the original 7-inch pairing with the dub version "Dub Bun Dem." The track became one of Digitaldubs’ best-known collaborations and helped define the group’s early Muzamba catalogue. It paired a Brazilian dub sound system production with a veteran Jamaican deejay, giving the release strong appeal in roots and dub circles. It remained a signature Digitaldubs tune and was later included on the group’s catalog releases, keeping it in circulation beyond the original 7-inch. The song also reinforced Digitaldubs’ reputation for cross-Atlantic reggae collaborations.
