The track was recorded for Kanka’s album Sub.Mersion, released in 2009 from his Rouen-based catalogue. Alexis Langlois, the musician behind Kanka, wrote and produced the album’s studio-built material. Released on Sub.Mersion, the track appeared after Kanka had become established on the French dub circuit through Don’t Stop Dub and Alert. The album continued his Hammerbass-era run of heavy sound-system productions with guest cuts from Biga Ranx, Mc Oliva, Ranking Joe, Bungalo Dub, and Moyenei. The track remains part of Kanka’s core Sub.Mersion catalogue and continues to circulate through his official digital releases. It documents the late-2000s stage of his Rouen sound before Dub Communication and the later Dubalistik releases.
