Dusty's Sermon

A late-1990s big beat track by Eddie Skratch & DC, it circulated on compilation releases such as Big Beat Elite Complete and later DJ mixes. The available release data identifies the piece with the group, but no session studio or individual session personnel are documented in the sources used here. The track sat in the center of the 1998 big beat boom and was included on the Lacerba compilation Big Beat Elite Complete, which helped place it alongside the scene’s better-known club records. It also turned up in DJ-set tracklists soon after release, showing that it moved in DJ and compilation circulation rather than as a mainstream chart single. Dusty’s Sermon remained a DJ-digging favorite, resurfacing in mix tracklists and online catalog listings years later. Its continued presence on big beat retrospectives has kept it visible as a minor cult cut from the era.
