Clarence Jackson recorded the single for Valtone, and it circulated on the Northern soul circuit as a rare dance-floor record. It was later included on the 1998 compilation Wigan Casino: 25th Anniversary. The record became a Northern soul favorite rather than a mainstream hit, with collectors treating it as a sought-after Valtone 45. Its continued presence on revival compilations reflects its status in the scene.
