Music Sounds Better with You

Recorded at Daft House in Paris, with Thomas Bangalter and Alan Braxe handling the mix and Benjamin Diamond on lead vocals. The track was cut for Stardust’s one-off 1998 single release. Released in 1998, it became a defining French house track and quickly broke through from club circles to mainstream charts. It hit No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart and spent two weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Dance Club Play chart. The song remains a signature document of the French touch era and a touchstone for later house and club production. It has been widely reissued, discussed, remixed, sampled, and ranked among the most important dance records of its era.
