Last Words

Clubfeet recorded Last Words for their debut album Gold on Gold, made by the Melbourne via Cape Town group of Sebastian Cohen, Monty Cooper and Yves Roberts. The track came from the same lounge-room recording period that shaped the album before its wider release through Illusive Sounds and Plant Music. Last Words appeared on Gold on Gold in 2010 and was later issued as a single with remixes by Andrew Maury, Jimmy2sox and Mercury. The song helped define Clubfeet's early international profile after the album was picked up for release by Plant Music in the United States. Last Words remained one of the central tracks from Clubfeet's first album and continued to circulate through later Gold on Gold remix editions. Its music video and remix package kept it visible within the band's early catalogue beyond the original album cycle.
