Let's Do It (Krystal Klear NY Mix)

Remixed by Dublin-based DJ and producer Krystal Klear (Declan Lennon) from the 1981 original written by Leroy Burgess and produced by Greg Carmichael, originally released on Sam Weiss's New York-based Sam Records. The remix was released on both Nurvous Records digitally and Sam Records on vinyl as part of a two-mix package alongside the Cut and Sew Mix. The remix revived a classic Paradise Garage anthem that had been huge with Larry Levan and Frankie Crocker, with Sounds of the Universe describing it as peak-time dancefloor business. Krystal Klear described it as a huge honour to release on a label that had paved his early discoveries into disco and house. The release brought one of Leroy Burgess's most celebrated Convertion recordings back into active circulation for a new generation of DJs, connecting the Sam Records legacy to the contemporary house scene through one of Ireland's most prominent electronic producers.
