Get Loose (extended mix)

“Get Loose” was released in 2019 by Mat.Joe with Chicago vocalist Kid Enigma on DFTD, Defected’s club-focused imprint. The release credits Matthias Neitzke, Johannes Schulz and Keith Rafael Perez as writers, with production by Mat.Joe and vocals by Kid Enigma. The single followed Mat.Joe’s 2018 DFTD cut “Dayum” and continued their run of club releases for Defected’s extended house network. Its official release notes highlighted its looped gravelly vocals, driving beat and summertime dancefloor appeal. “Get Loose” remains documented through DFTD, Beatport, Traxsource and Bandcamp digital listings. It stands as one of Mat.Joe’s notable late-2010s Defected-family releases and a collaboration linking the Berlin duo with Kid Enigma’s Chicago-rooted vocal style.
