In Degrees

“In Degrees (Purple Disco Machine Remix)” was released in May 2019 by Foals after the original album version appeared on Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost – Part 1. The original recording was made at 123 in London with production by Foals, Yannis Philippakis and Brett Shaw, while Purple Disco Machine handled the remix treatment. The remix extended “In Degrees” from Foals’ 2019 album campaign into club circulation and paired the band with one of the period’s prominent dance remixers. Its release supported the single’s dance-facing identity alongside the original version and official video campaign. “In Degrees (Purple Disco Machine Remix)” remains part of Foals’ official remix catalogue and was later included on Collected Reworks Vol. 1. It stands as one of the clearest club versions from the Everything Not Saved Will Be Lost era.
