Body Funk

Purple Disco Machine cut "Body Funk" in 2017 as a solo studio production in Dresden, Germany. The track samples Hot Streak’s "Body Work" and was issued on the Sweat It Out/Club Sweat orbit before appearing on Soulmatic. At release, "Body Funk" served as one of the key pre-album singles from Soulmatic and quickly became a club record. It was picked up for its disco-house energy and became one of Purple Disco Machine’s defining early anthems. "Body Funk" remained a signature Purple Disco Machine track and a staple in his DJ sets. Its sample-driven hook helped cement his reputation as one of modern disco-house’s most recognizable producers.
