Nuthin’ but a G Thing (Dre En Cumbia) / Nuthin’ but a "G" Thang

Recorded for Boiler Room’s Quantic in Los Angeles DJ mix on March 2, 2017. It combines Quantic y su Conjunto Los Míticos del Ritmo’s cumbia rework with Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg’s original "Nuthin’ but a 'G' Thang." The track placed a cumbia reinterpretation of a defining West Coast hip-hop single inside a high-profile Boiler Room set. It stood out as one of the mix’s clearest crossover moments, linking Latin club rhythm with a canonical rap anthem. The track kept Quantic’s cumbia cover in active circulation through compilation and DJ-mix contexts. It remains a recognizable example of how the original song could be reimagined for global dance floors.
