Fly Kicks (Wax Motif Remix)

A Wax Motif remix of AC Slater and Chris Lorenzo’s “Fly Kicks,” released by Night Bass Records on July 7, 2017 as part of Night Bass Remixed, Vol. 1. The credited artists on the release are AC Slater and Chris Lorenzo, with Wax Motif credited as remixer. The remix packaged one of Night Bass’s club tracks for the label’s remix compilation and quickly became a DJ-facing bass-house cut. Beatport listed it prominently in the Night Bass catalog, and it appeared in later curator charts and mixes. The track has stayed in circulation through DJ mixes, playlists, and repeated reuse as entrance music, which kept it visible beyond its original 2017 release. Its enduring presence reflects Wax Motif’s continued standing as a remix producer within bass-house and related club scenes.
