Original Love Injection (Boca 45 Remix)

The Bodybeard Brothers issued it as their debut release on Leisure Recordings, with DJ Snafu featured on the title track and Boca 45 handling the remix on the companion single. The release presents the project as a Leisure Allstars offshoot built around a funk-and-reggae club sound. Released on September 4, 2006, the single was described by Leisure Recordings as a hotly anticipated debut and was presented as a dancefloor record with peak-time club energy. Its follow-up remix release in April 2007 framed the track as already circulating successfully in clubs. The track continued to appear in DJ sets and remix compilations after release, including mixes by Boca 45 and other selectors. Its afterlife centered on the remix culture around Leisure Recordings and the Bristol club-funk scene.
