Marcia Griffiths · 1988
Recording

Marcia Griffiths recorded the track for Donovan Germain’s Penthouse label as a reggae cover of Fleetwood Mac’s "Everywhere." It appeared on her Marcia album and was issued as a single in the Penthouse Vintage series. The song showed Griffiths bringing a mainstream pop hit into a Jamaican lovers rock/dancehall setting. It stood out as one of her Penthouse-era recordings and helped anchor the Marcia album’s contemporary sound. The track has stayed in circulation on later compilations and reissues, keeping it present in Griffiths’s catalog. It is remembered as one of the best-known reggae cover versions of Fleetwood Mac’s original.
