Give Me Love

The track was recorded for Living in the Material World at Apple Studio and FPSHOT with George Harrison leading a band that included Nicky Hopkins, Jim Keltner, Klaus Voormann and Jim Horn. Harrison produced the recording himself after the large scale All Things Must Pass and Concert for Bangladesh projects. Released as a single in 1973, it became Harrison second solo number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and introduced Living in the Material World. The song also reached number 8 on the UK Singles Chart and reinforced Harrison spiritual songwriting identity. It remains one of Harrison best known solo singles and a central song in his post Beatles catalogue. The track has endured through compilations, tribute performances and its association with Harrison slide guitar style.
