I Follow Rivers

Dave Sitek remixed Lykke Li's 2011 single I Follow Rivers after the original Wounded Rhymes recording produced by Bjorn Yttling. The remix was issued as part of the single campaign alongside versions by Van Rivers, the Subliminal Kid, and later the Magician. Released in 2011 through the I Follow Rivers single campaign, the Dave Sitek remix connected Lykke Li's Wounded Rhymes material with Sitek's New York art-rock production world. It was highlighted by Pitchfork ahead of the single release as a horn-driven rework of the track. The remix remains a documented official version from the Wounded Rhymes era, though the Magician remix became the dominant commercial club version. It preserves the song's early remix history before its later European chart resurgence.
