Kelly Watch the Stars

Air recorded Kelly Watch the Stars in 1997 during the Moon Safari sessions, with Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel writing and producing the track. Stéphane Briat mixed the single, and Alex Gopher mastered the original release. Kelly Watch the Stars was released in 1998 as the second single from Moon Safari on Source and Virgin. It reached number 18 on the UK Singles Chart and helped extend Air's international breakthrough after Sexy Boy. Kelly Watch the Stars remains one of Air's signature early singles and a key track from Moon Safari. Mike Mills's table-tennis-themed video and the song's continued compilation presence have kept it visible in the duo's catalogue.
