My Favourite Game

The track was recorded for Gran Turismo with Nina Persson, Peter Svensson, Magnus Sveningsson, Bengt Lagerberg and Lars Olof Johansson. The album was recorded at Country Hell in Skurup, Sweden, with Tore Johansson producing. Released as the lead single from Gran Turismo in 1998, it marked a darker and more forceful phase for the Cardigans after their international success with Lovefool. The single reached number 14 on the UK Singles Chart and became one of the album key international tracks. It remains one of the Cardigans best known singles and gained lasting visibility through its video and inclusion in Gran Turismo related media. The song has continued to represent the band late 1990s shift toward a heavier studio sound.
