Erase Rewind

The song was recorded at Country Hell and Tambourine Studios in Skurup, Sweden, with the Cardigans and producer/engineer Tore Johansson. It comes from the sessions for Gran Turismo, which the band tracked there in 1998. Released as the second single from Gran Turismo in January 1999, it became one of the album’s biggest hits. It reached number 7 in the UK Singles Chart and also received attention through film placements in The Thirteenth Floor and Never Been Kissed. It remains one of the Cardigans’ best-known songs and a defining track from Gran Turismo. Its continued recognition has kept it in circulation through soundtrack use, compilation appearances, and later live retrospectives.
