Rhythm & Sound · 2002
Recording

Recorded as part of the Rhythm & Sound w/ the Artists series and voiced by Love Joy, the track was issued as the BM-10 10-inch single in 2002 on Burial Mix. Rhythm & Sound was the Berlin production duo Mark Ernestus and Moritz von Oswald. The record stood out as one of the key entries in Rhythm & Sound’s dub-and-reggae series, pairing a stripped-back Berlin production with a classic vocal style. It also helped define the group’s collaboration-driven approach on the Burial Mix label. The track remains one of the best-known Rhythm & Sound collaborations and is still cited among the essential Burial Mix releases. It has continued to circulate through reissues, DJs, and later compilations as a reference point for dub techno and minimalist reggae-inflected production.
