Chance With You

It was recorded for the 1976 Turbo album Let Your Mind Be Free, with Billy Jones and Bernadette Randle credited on the original release; Jones handled production and arranging, while the album credits also list Bernadette Randle on keyboards and Sammy Lowe on orchestration. The session personnel on the album included Jonathan Williams, Clarence Oliver, Craig Derry, Allan Tucker, and Richie Corsello. The track was one of Brother to Brother’s strongest 1976 releases and helped the group follow up the earlier R&B success of "Let Your Mind Be Free." It became a Billboard soul chart hit and was treated as a standout cut from the album. "Chance With You" remains one of Brother to Brother’s best-known recordings and has stayed in circulation through reissues, collectors’ circles, and funk-disco playlists. It is still cited as a favorite of club and rare-groove DJs.
