Recording

The track was recorded at Wackies House of Music for the Creation Dub album, issued under the Bullwackies All Stars name. Lloyd “Bullwackie” Barnes produced and arranged the set, with Douglas Levy and Barnes credited for engineering and mixing. Released in 1977, the track formed part of one of Wackies’ foundational New York dub albums. It versioned Chosen Brothers’ “Love Me to the End” within the label’s sparse, bass-heavy Bronx studio sound. The track remains part of the Creation Dub catalogue, later reissued through Wackies and Basic Channel’s reissue programme. It preserves the early Wackies approach that became central to the label’s reputation among dub collectors.
