Recording

Recorded at Studio One in Jamaica as a late-1970s roots rock instrumental, with a version on the reverse. The release is credited to Liberation Group and tied to Clement "Coxsone" Dodd’s Studio One production circle. It stood out as a strong Studio One roots instrumental and was issued as a 7-inch on the Forward label. It later became one of the showcase selections used to represent the Studio One catalog in Soul Jazz’s reissue program. The track has remained a recurring Studio One catalog cut, appearing on later compilations such as Studio One Showcase 45 and Studio One Scorcher. That compilation presence kept it in circulation for new generations of reggae listeners.
