Old Monk Version

The track was created for the Old Monk Riddim Selection project by GuerillJah Productions in Berlin. Hardy Digital supplied the music and handled the mix and master, with Hardy Digital and Longfingah credited for arrangement and production. Released in 2013, the track served as the instrumental version closing the Old Monk Riddim Selection. The release documented GuerillJah Productions’ early Berlin sound-system work with vocal cuts by Parly B, Bandulu, Tomawok, Tribuman, Wendy Wonder, Gillus, and Sista Zoum. The track remains tied to GuerillJah Productions’ early catalogue and the label’s development as a Berlin reggae and dub production outlet. It preserves the underlying Hardy Digital riddim used across the Old Monk vocal selection.
