Get Lucky (feat. Pharrell Williams)

It was recorded at New York’s Electric Lady Studios during the Random Access Memories sessions, with Pharrell Williams on vocals and Nile Rodgers on guitar alongside Daft Punk. Released as the lead single from Random Access Memories, it became Daft Punk’s first UK number one and their first top-10 hit in the United States, peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also won Record of the Year at the 56th Grammy Awards. The song became one of Daft Punk’s signature recordings and one of the defining crossover hits of 2013, with major streaming impact and enduring chart sales in the UK. Its hook and Nile Rodgers guitar work kept it in circulation through awards performances, radio, and later retro-pop revival references.
