One More Time

Daft Punk completed the track in Paris in 1998 and later issued it as the lead single from Discovery. Romanthony provided the vocal performance and co-wrote the song. The song marked Daft Punk’s leap from club credibility to mainstream crossover, driven by its polished disco-house production and Romanthony’s heavily processed vocal. It reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart and also entered the Billboard Hot 100, making it one of the duo’s defining early hits. One More Time remains one of Daft Punk’s signature recordings and a durable touchstone for early-2000s electronic pop and house. Its video later became part of Interstella 5555, extending the song’s cultural reach beyond the single release.
