Make a Move on Me

Dave Lee recorded Make a Move on Me under the Joey Negro name with Taka Boom on vocals. The track was written by Lee and Yvonne Stevens, produced by Lee for Z Records, and issued first as a 2005 club single before the 2006 Data Records commercial release. The single became one of Joey Negro's biggest UK chart records, reaching number 11 on the Official Singles Chart in March 2006. It also reached number one on the UK Dance Singles Chart, extending Lee's mid-2000s run of crossover club releases. Make a Move on Me remained a key Joey Negro catalogue track through Z Records reissues, Mark Knight remixes and later digital editions. Its Taka Boom vocal and extended club mix kept it active in DJ sets and commercial house compilations.
