Vin Gordon recorded this trombone instrumental for producer Clement “Coxsone” Dodd at Jamaica Recording Studio, better known as Studio One, in Kingston. Released on Muzik City in 1972, Red Blood showcased Gordon as a featured instrumentalist within Dodd’s Studio One catalogue. Soul Jazz included the recording on Studio One Scorcher in 2002. Gordon revisited it in 2015 with a new backing produced by Perilous and mixed by Nick Manasseh.
