A Few More Kisses to Go

A Few More Kisses to Go

Isaac Hayes · 1979
Recording

Recorded in 1979 for Don't Let Go with Isaac Hayes writing, producing, arranging, and playing keyboards. The album personnel included Willie Hall on drums and percussion, Derrick Galbreath on bass, Travis Biggs and Jesse Butler on keyboards, and Ben Picone and the Atlanta Horns and Strings. Released by Polydor in 1979, A Few More Kisses to Go followed the album's successful title-track single. It reached number 89 on the Billboard R&B chart and extended Hayes's late-1970s Polydor run. The track remained one of Hayes's better-known late-disco-era recordings. Its later sample use helped keep the song active among hip-hop and electronic-music listeners.
