You're So Right For Me

The single was produced by Eddie Davis for Gordo Enterprises and issued in the United States as a 12-inch on Rampart Records. Harry Scorzo Jr. wrote and arranged the vocal and instrumental versions, with the label crediting the release as a Joint Effort Production. Released in 1977, the record crossed from its West Coast label origin into the British singles market through Creole Records. It reached number 44 on the Official Singles Chart in April 1978. The track remained a collector favourite among disco and boogie DJs, helped by its extended 12-inch vocal and instrumental formats. Its later digital remixes and continued reissue activity kept the record visible beyond its original club era.
