Love Sweet Sound

Groove Armada recorded the original song for the Soundboy Rock album, with Candi Staton on vocals and Andy Cato, Tom Findlay, and Staton credited as writers. Mark Knight and Funkagenda remixed it as the A.H.B Mix for the 2007 Love Sweet Sound single package. Released in 2007 on Sony BMG, the remix accompanied the single during the Soundboy Rock campaign. The related The Things / Love Sweet Sound issue reached number 77 on the UK Official Physical Singles Chart and number 9 on the UK Official Independent Singles Chart. The Mark Knight and Funkagenda mix remained in circulation through later Strictly Rhythm, Deepalma, and digital editions. The original song also became part of Groove Armada's Candi Staton collaboration catalogue and was later revisited on the GA25 anniversary project.
