Recorded and mixed by Jimi Polar at The Lookout in Bondi Beach, Australia, between 2004 and 2006. DJ Regal wrote, arranged, and produced the track for his debut solo album Loop Dreams. The track served as the first single from Loop Dreams and drew favorable notice for its vintage breaks and dancefloor energy. Reviewers highlighted its old-school hip-hop feel and its place within Regal’s b-boy-oriented solo debut. It remained one of Regal’s signature solo cuts and was later made available again through Lexington 144 and Earth Works. Its hook has also been cited by sample-tracking databases as a recognizable source for later use.
