Gat Decor’s original 1992 recording was a London studio production built by Simon B. Slater, Laurence Nelson-Boudville, and Simon Hanson. The single circulated first on white label and then on Effective Records. The track became an immediate underground club record and then crossed over into the UK Singles Chart. It was widely noted as one of the era’s defining house records. The record remains a staple of club sets and compilation culture, and its melody and groove have kept it in circulation through later reissues, remixes, and DJ edits. It is remembered as Gat Decor’s signature track and an early touchstone of progressive house.
