Let's Make Love

The track was made for Vigor Records, the De-Lite Records subsidiary that issued Jeanne Napoli's disco recordings. Bhen Lanzaroni produced and arranged the recording, and the song was written by Bob Allen, Linda LoPresti, and Lanzaroni. Released as a Vigor single in 1977, it became Napoli's best-known disco record and the title most associated with her short recording career. The extended twelve-inch version placed her nightclub-cabaret vocal style in a full-length club format. The track remained visible through rare-disco collecting and later compilation use, including Dimitri From Paris's Disco Forever. It later drew sample and cover documentation through WhoSampled, tying the recording to modern dance reworks.
