Recording

Recorded in the mid-1960s as a Bell single by Prince and Princess, the recording paired "Stick Together" with "Insanity" and was produced and arranged by Larry Fallon and Jimmy Miller. The act was the recording name used by New York music man Harold Thomas. Released in 1966, the single fit Bell’s run of boutique pop-soul releases and became a sought-after Northern soul spin. It was later picked up for compilation use, including Goldmine’s "Wigan Casino: 25th Anniversary" set. "Stick Together" endured as a collector’s favorite on the Northern soul circuit and remained a favored deep-soul/British all-nighter selection. Its continued circulation on reissue compilations kept the record alive for later soul fans.
