Hey Hey

Dennis Ferrer recorded Hey Hey for his Objektivity label and issued it as OBJ 014 in 2009. The track was written and produced by Ferrer, with the later Defected package adding DF's Attention Vocal and Dub versions plus Crookers and Dim Chris remixes. The single became one of Ferrer's biggest crossover records and reached the UK Official Singles Chart in June 2010. It also became a major club record for Defected, entering the UK dance and independent singles charts during its wider release. Hey Hey remained one of Ferrer's signature records and continued to circulate through Defected and Objektivity remix editions. Later versions by Jack Back, Riva Starr, Da Capo and Kitty Amor kept the song active in international house catalogues.
