Voicemail

“Voicemail” was released by Green Velvet and Patrick Topping on 20 October 2014 through Relief Records. The record was written and produced by Curtis Jones and Patrick Topping and issued as a single-track digital release. The single paired Chicago house figure Green Velvet with Newcastle producer Patrick Topping during Topping’s breakout period. Its deadpan phone-message vocal and rolling club structure made it a widely played Relief release. “Voicemail” remains documented through Relief, Beatport, Discogs, Shazam and streaming-service listings. It stayed active in club circulation and received a 2023 Layton Giordani remix on Relief.
