In the End

In the End (I Want You to Cry) was written and produced by Marco Niemerski as Tensnake and released on Running Back in Germany. The original EP was mastered by Loop-O and included Holding Back (My Love) and TheThenUnknown alongside the lead track. The track was one of Tensnake's first widely noticed releases before Coma Cat and helped establish his late-2000s profile in European club music. Resident Advisor praised Marco Niemerski's production craft in its 2009 single review. In the End (I Want You to Cry) remains an early Tensnake catalogue highlight and later returned in expanded digital editions with remixes by Lone and Prins Thomas. Tensnake's own biography identifies it as one of his first tastes of success.
