Sunshine & Happiness

Darryl Pandy recorded Sunshine & Happiness with Nerio's Dubwork, the production alias associated with Maurizio Nari and Ronnie Milani. The 1999 UK issue on Azuli included Nerio's Dubwork, Nerio's Accadub, and Alex Hi-Fi mixes, and the release credited material from Chic's My Forbidden Lover. Released in 1999 on Azuli, the single reached number 68 on the UK Official Singles Chart and number 3 on the UK Official Dance Singles Chart. It brought Pandy's Chicago vocal presence into the late-1990s European club market through an Italian production team. The track remains one of Pandy's later club singles after his 1980s work with Farley Jackmaster Funk. Its Chic-sampling construction and later reissues kept it active in disco-house and classic-house catalogues.
