The Wookie mix of Gabrielle’s "Sunshine" was built from the original 1999 session at Trident Studios in London, with Gabrielle and Jonathan Shorten at the core and Richie Fermie on programming and production. Wookie was credited as the remixer and additional producer, with the final mix tied to The Church in London. The remix recast a bright pop single as a club record and became the version most associated with the song in dance and garage circles. It helped keep Gabrielle in the UK Top 10 conversation and gave "Sunshine" a second life beyond the original album release.
