Recording

Recorded by Basement Jaxx for the Remedy era, with Felix Buxton, Simon Ratcliffe, and guest vocals from Slarta John (Mark James); Madman Swyli is also credited as a guest performer. The original release credits Basement Jaxx as producer and mixer. Released as the third single from Remedy, it extended Basement Jaxx’s 1999 breakout run and reached No. 12 on the UK Official Singles Chart. It also peaked at No. 4 on the UK Official Dance Singles Chart. The track remained part of the duo’s core catalogue, appearing on The Singles and returning in later reissues and remixes, including a 2016 digital release and a 2025 remix issue. Its longevity reflects its continued club and catalogue value.
