Recording

It was recorded during the 1998 sessions for Basement Jaxx’s debut album Remedy and released as the album’s second single in 1999. The track was written, produced, and mixed by Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe. The single became Basement Jaxx’s highest UK chart entry at the time, peaking at number 4 on the UK Singles Chart, and it also reached number 1 on the UK Dance Singles Chart.
