Convolution

Skudge released Convolution as the A-side of Convolution / Contamination, the first Skudge Records 12-inch, in 2010. The track was produced by the Stockholm duo Elias Landberg and Gustaf Wallner under the Skudge alias. Convolution launched the Skudge label and quickly drew attention for its stripped, functional club construction. Resident Advisor described the debut 12-inch as dance-floor friendly and distinctive, with Convolution merging smoky 4/4 pressure, dub textures, and a repeated vocal sample. Convolution became one of Skudge's defining early tracks and later received remixes by Conforce, Marcel Fengler, and Levon Vincent. Its 2023 Levon Vincent versions renewed attention on the record as a Skudge classic.
