Jordan Rakei and Jalen Ngonda wrote and recorded the track in one morning at Abbey Road Studios in London. Jordan Rakei produced it, and the session paired his multi-instrumental approach with Ngonda’s vocals. Released on 1 December 2025 as the lead collaboration from Rakei’s Between Us project, it marked a new duo recording from two of contemporary British soul’s most visible voices. The song was issued on Fontana Records and drew attention for its polished, classic-soul feel. The track helped launch the collaborative Between Us era and was later carried onto the 2026 EP of the same name. It stands as an early document of Rakei’s collaboration series and of his Abbey Road period.
